Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce2011 BHCC Executive Board of Directors
The Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce is a private nonprofit membership organization founded in 1979. The BHCC has been a strong advocate for business and the the welfare of the general community offering educational resources and events, while building important relationships between government and private business. The BHCC has historically held contracts with the City of Los Angeles to beautify important industrial and commercial sectors, protecting and revitalizing commercial districts.
Currently, BHCC members continue to volunteer time to participate in various important roles as members of the CRA Eastside Adelante Project Area Advisory Committee, the METRO Gold Line Extension Resident Advisory Committee, the Community Police Advisory Committee (CPAC) and numerous other working groups that advocate for public safety, economic growth and business development in Boyle Heights.
